Skiing and Semester 2

Hello everyone!! ( have to make it quick because I'm supposed to be doing homework haha!) I've completed my last exam and I've participated in the first weekend of my level 1 ski instructor course. It was lots of fun, snow conditions were great, we had some flat light in the afternoon but overall the weekend was pretty fun. Oh yes, we also had some pretty strong wind gusts throughout Sunday. Now it's Monday and semester 2 has started at school. This semester, I have LLF 30-1 (Langue et literature francais)(or if you don't speak french it's French Language Arts), Etudes Sociales (social studies), et les mathematiques 30 Pures, and drama to wrap up my day! French class seems pretty good, my french teacher seems pretty nice and so passionate about french that it's kind of intimidating. She's already assigned us homework; writing a poem about yourself in french....fun times. Social Studies- throughout the class I was beginning to wonder if this teacher had ever kept silent for 10 seconds. He, very scatter-brainedly(...not sure if that's a word...) gave us an introduction/class/life story/diploma prep. Not in that order, in fact those 4 things were all packed in randomly and he kept going back to refer to them, getting very side-tracked in what was supposed to be an introduction to Social 30-1. And math, I have a very nice, strict teacher who seems to know how to handle high school children haha. I was very surprised at this particularly small class of 23 while my other courses are full of 40-45 kids. I prefer small classes to big ones. Then finally drama :D It's soo much funnn!! As always, we introduce ourselves and says something about us, like today was an embarrassing story- and I heard some pretty funny ones :) But I'm not going to make any assumptions of what this semester is going to be like. Umm, I'm enjoying this warm weather we're having-it's not cold which is brilliant!! Ok, I guess I'll wrap this up. Oh yes, before I forget, congratulations to Antoine et Ophelie on their baby girl!! She is soo cute!! That's all from me today!!

Just another update :)

I've been showing my mother some dramas and so far she loves them!!!!
Anndddd more importantly, I've been studying my bum offff!! The weather has helped because here it's a nice balmy temperature of -35 C and I'm loving it! haha, brrrrr!  So that's been lots of fun!
So I found another couple of amazing aussies: casandjonesy.com.au these 2 gentlemen are on their way back from walking from the edge of antarctica to the south pole and back! Definitely check out their website cause it's awesome!!
So I have the rest of this week and next week and then semester 2 starts at school! I'm been trying to relax a little but of course I can't because I have to study for my exams tomorrow and next Tuesday and Thursday although I am finding it very nice not to have to go into school until those exams! Oh yes, I've also signed up to take a Level 1 Ski Instructor course which I am super excited about, so I'll that will be the last weekend in January and the first weekend in February. wow, time is flying by!
Well I should probably put my head back down and continue studying here!! Hope you guys are all staying warm if it's cold where you are!

Back to School

haha, well what do you know. There I was enjoying my lovely time off, (and even studying a little bit!!) and then it's time to go back to school!! :( Today I was really well surprised when I had 2 replacement practice diploma tests and I forgot my calculator at home!! Oopsss! that was very interesting, trying to do all the math in my head and eekks!
So the day before we went back to school it was my birthday!! Yippee! I'm so glad it was on a sunday because every other year I usually either go back to school on my birthday or I have a lovely exam on my birthday!! I got a really yummy lemon almond cake! It was soo good!! And I got a tent so I can go camping by myself at the end of the year!! I'll probably bring along a friend too!! We can go hiking and stuff!! It'll be a blast!! Well, I got to go studying now!!

New Year 2012!!

Happy New Year!! Oh my gosh, it's 2012! I don't know about you, but I think that 2011 went by super fast! I've finished Unit 1 in Level 1 Japanese-Rosetta Stone! It's a really good, unique program! I recommend it definitely! Today was absolutely beautiful!! It was a nice 12 degrees outside and this afternoon I sat outside with a large cup of tea! i think I may even have gotten a little bit of a tan, haah! But this is the warmest it's ever been in January from what I can remember! Now all I have to do in this New Year before school starts is make a vision board. I put on it what I think represents what my goals and what I want to come out of this year. I've also watched a movie called 'Tokyo Boy' recently about a girl with a split-personality and it was really cool and interesting. I've never really thought about a split-personality really, but this movie was really clever the way they did it. Another movie I recommend is Koizora, it's pretty good too, it made me cry soo much! It's a very cute and very sad love story! 
I have also been studying...during my christmas break...eww...but I mean it's kind of mandatory if I want to pass grade 12... Wish me luck! and Happy New Year to everyone and I hope this new year brings..um...anything and everything you hope for!
