Wahoo, I think I am soo tired of kids around the ages of 3-5 for ski teaching!! They are so exhausting, I know some people say that they are lots of fun, but...okay, they are a little...but it's so chaotic and hectic...it's so hard to keep track of all 5-6 of them at the same time, with their parents watching on the side lines calling to their kids- making them wander off!! It's so hard to keep track, but I am managing, today and yesterday and tomorrow I am getting lots of help from senior instructors!! YAY!! I was supposed to be switched off because it's a little too chaotic for me, but they couldn't so they're giving me more help instead. Which in a way is better because then I can learn more, but I don't think it's helping my young little wee healthy heart though haha! I love teaching private lessons, if they are from 1-4 people I can handle it- it's fantastic, even if the ages are adults and little preschool kids combined, it's so much fun!! I take my hat off to all those preschool and kindergarten teachers--wow they got skills...however, they do have an advantage of having one room while I have a whole ski hill full of kids that are wearing similar jackets and are around the same age!! >.< But it's all good fun and a huge learning curve for me!
Youths are lots of fun to teach, easy, although they talk back when it's hard...but that's okay, I can deal with that. They're lots of fun because I can actually go on the chair and practice skiing myself a little XD
I have one more day of the 4 day program to teach and that's tomorrow. So apart from being tired after every day, I like it much much more than sitting at a desk and studying all day doing little or no physical activity...!!
Alright, supper's on the table so I got to go!! I'll try to update more frequently!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to everyone out there! I hope this year everyone has been good :P I had a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of turkey and pressies and laughter!!
I had a wonderful day at work yesterday, teaching a private lesson in the morning and then a semi-private in the afternoon and getting off around 3 pm which is much better than 5 pm! Then Christmas came early in the morning and my older brother and I and my parents were woken up by our little brother shouting 'Christmas time!! Wake up! Time to open presents!'
haha, as usual, and lots of pictionary was played on my dad's birthday (the 23rd), it was lots of fun!
So I'm working 27-30 and then from the 2-6 of January! I'll be busy but it's much much better than being immobile and studying all the time!
That's it for now! I am going to go and read some of the books I got for Christmas!!

Winter Solstice
Yesterday was the 21st obviously, and as it was the winter solstice, we had a little meditation that ended up lasting 35 minutes!! Wow!! We were aiming for at least 8 minutes, but we surpassed!! It went by very quickly and it was quite nice and relaxing. Other than that we didn't do a whole lot. We played with some tarot cards and snacked on yummy treats. In the evening, Lalaina and Maoly came over for visiting and I have to say it was very very nice to see Lalaina again! I'm so glad I am back from that perspective! It was also very nice to see Tanya again! It was a blast pulling all those tarot cards...haha
This morning I actually slept in until 9! Yay! I was also making cookies and reading, but then my little brother pissed me off so much that here I am, killing him in my head. haha but GOSH HE IS SO FRUSTRATING! I could fry his face and feed it to the crows. or something. yeah, well he's annoying. anyway
I have unpacked a little.
It's dad's birthday tomorrow too, so I was in the middle of making his cookies when I removed myself from downstairs to avoid lashing out. And so now I am trying to calm myself by writing and just breathing, you know, yeah...okay

Super exhausted
Hii! So I am still in the process of unpacking, and I've already worked my first day at COP...it was quite the event. Considering how nervous I was, it totally wasn't worth it. Everyone there was super nice and friendly and I met so many people and it definitely was not worth all that worrying. I got lots of help and advice from senior instructors which was soo helpful!! I've had 3 nights of training and tonight it my last one. Then my next day I am working is Christmas Eve, and then I will be doing a 3 day came on Dec 27, 28, 29, and I'm working on the 30th as well. I have New Year's eve and day off and I work from Jan 2-6 all 8 hour shifts. wahoo!! I am excited but yesterday I worked a smaller day from 8:15-3:15 roughly, and then I had to come back for training from 5:30-9 pm. So It was really tiring, and all my muscles are sore because I've had little or no physical activity over the past 3 1/2 months. This is the first time I've turned on my computer..in a really long time..really, since I got back.. haah awesome. Um, yeah, so apart from my really sore body I am absolutely fine! Still I am very glad to be home. Love my job (although I hate management because they're really, really disorganized) and life is good. Tomorrow we're doing a solstice meditation get together thingy, so that will be fun. Um. Yeah. I suppose.
I am still living out of boxes but now I have like 4 days off so it's all good XD I am going to be so tired after my 4 day long shifts haha. Um okay, well I got to go and help continue cooking and cleaning...it's what we've been doing all day in preparation of tomorrows shindig!
Yay!

In Calgary
Hii!! I arrived in Calgary Thursday evening after 2 long days of driving! I am very content with seeing my puppy again!! He is super adorable, just as I remember!! :D
So, today I went with my dad to a first-aid and CPR course and it continues on to tomorrow which has been quite-uh- informative?
This evening we've started to set up our Christmas tree but the lights aren't working, so that's kind of put a hole in our decorating.
Also, I haven't even gotten time to unpack yet, so all that's unpacked are my clothes...and nothing else! Everything is still in it's boxes...oh well, it's nothing too urgent I suppose.
These are just some photos of me and my wee brother and my lovely mummy and daddy and my little pooch sunny!! :D
Isn't he adorable XD
You might recognize BJ (the bear) wearing a matching red bow as Sunny! hehe
Friday was quite nice and busy, I went for a nice walk with my mum on Nose Hill with my puppy and it was wonderful with the gorgeous view of the mountains! After, we ran some errands and by the time everything had calmed down, we went to Oma and Opa's to decorate their Christmas Tree and ate yummy pizza. It was very nice to see everyone in the flesh again!

Travel Day
Hi everyone!!
I was going to write a blog on the ferry coming over from Nanaimo to Vancouver...but the wi-fi was very untrustworthy and it kept dropping and for some reason I am having lots of difficulty opening the blog page...I don't know what's going on.
What's happened yesterday and today.
Last night I went out to dinner with Geunyeoung and Seo Yeong at a over-priced yet delicious pasta and pizza restaurant. It was called New York Style Pasta and Pizza. A place that was super delicious but super expensive and we did not even get service with a smile...which was unfortunate. The lady wasn't rude just unhappy and made everything you asked her look like a burden.
But it did not affect the lovely time we had together. This is Geunyeong on the left and Seo Young sitting beside me. It was brilliant, we found that we had lots of music in common, we both really like classical music which was fantastic!
Then afterwards, I met my daddy and we met and discussed what was going to happen the next morning. I got back to res at around 9:40, and Dabin came to visit at 10 pm. We took some last photos together and she gave me a wonderful letter. I'm going to miss her!
I cleaned the bathroom that night, and got into bed at around 11 at night.
This morning, I got up at 6:30, and Dad came around at 7 am. We started packing and managed to get everything done by 8:30 am including vacuuming, and cleaning in general. We were waiting around for 1/2 an hour for the dryer to finish drying. It finished at 9:00 am so we were out of res and I had handed in my keys at 9:05 or so and we were at the ferry terminal at 9:15! The next ferry was at 10:30 so we had lots of time. We had coffee at Starbucks and then went on the ferry!
this is me and my dad on the ferry! After the ferry we just drove and drove and drove. We arrived in Kelowna at around 4:30 or so, and we met my dad's friend, Uncle Barry. We are staying at his house for the night. We had pizzza for dinner and then we went to Uncle Barry's christmas concert with the kelowna city band at the old folks home. Then after the concert, I met up with my friend Cassidy from Calgary. That was super nice and we caught up which was loverly!
Well, I'm going to go to bed now!! XD It's 11:24 now, so I'm starting to wind down after all the coffee!! Nighty night!!

Rise of the Guardians
Yesterday I had the most amazing and fun time!! I went to meet with Stella and Sam (two Chinese international students) and we went to see Rise of the Guardians, it was super awesome!! Definitely one worth seeing in the theatre!! After that fantastic movie, we went shopping for dinner items, where we bought chicken, pork and tomatoes and other necessary items for dinner that evening. Then we took the bus for 40 minutes to get to Sam's house where she cooked for us, it was soo yummyy!! Sam and Stella then gave me lovely prezzies!!
The box of chocolates is from Stella, and the warm buddy teddy is from Sam! Thank you xxx
The teddy bear is named Bazoo Jack Frost. in honour of Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians, Bazoo just because, so I call him BJ for short XD. Sam also had a dark chocolate brown bear and his name is Matthew Henry Sandy. Henry because it just got stuck in my head for some reason, and Sandy in honour of the Sandman who sends sweet dreams to kids at night! He's super cute! hah XD
Here's a bad fuzzy pictures of me and BJ!

Japanese Exam and Korean Dinner!
So today was a big day! (compared to all my ordinary days anyway...)
Last night, I could not fall asleep!! No matter what I tried- counting sheep, meditating, I just couldn't do it! So I think I lay in bed awake for 1 1/2 hours roughly, before I actually fell asleep- so going to bed at 10 didn't work too well for an early night before the exam. Because of this, waking up in the morning wasn't easy either. Luckily, I put my alarm on 1/2 hour earlier so I wasn't going to be late even if I slept in for an hour! (I got up after 20 minutes of my alarm! Yay!) I was on time to my Japanese exam and everything went smoothly. Although I did forget silly things like 'between' and some kanji and how to answer 'yes' to a date... I think it went okay...I hope I do well. I left the exam 25 minutes before the end- we had 3 hours to write it. I then did some errands, like sell my books back to the bookstore. When I bought the books, each one was like $12-16, and there were 5 books, one of them was my theatre book of $92. What I got in total of selling these 5 books was $11.39. And I couldn't sell my theatre book.. What a rip off. So don't buy your school books unless you can't find them elsewhere :( It's a big scam! students are already poor and bookstores only make them poorer :(
Anyway, then I went to get my high school transcript from the university which was by wonderfully, and I got it scanned and emailed off, so my application can finally be sent off...all it's taken at my parents end is 1 whole month, but oh well, at least it's going to get sent!
Then, at 6pm, I went over to Dabin's for dinner! Where I met 3 lovely Korean girls :) and we all ate a delicious korean dinner! IT WAS SO YUMMY!!! After dinner, Dabin gave me lots of goodies <3 super sweet!! We all talked and had tea, and now I'm at home after doing dishes!! Fun times!!
I will probably get a photo or 2 at a later date!! :D

More study
So it's 11:12 AM, and this morning I had porridge for breakfast, and if I run out of food at all for this last week, I'll just eat porridge because that is one thing that I have a lot of. XD haha awesomeness. Okay, so tomorrow is my Japanese final! EEkkkk!! I am so very nervous so I have to study study and study and study some more and do practice stuff and I am very nervous.
Also, I got my hands on a photo that was taken at Nori with some fellow peers and Japanese helper students!! I actually really like this photo
Um, so left is me, next to me is....a chinese international student I believe, who came because he was friends with the guy next to him who is also chinese and he is in the same class as me (as I learned that day...[I sit in the front of the class so I don't really know who is in the class unless they talk to me because I never look back]) Um, then on the other side of the table starting from the farthest away, is my dear friend Akina, and Chikako is next to her and the closest is Sora, my Korean friend who is in the other Japanese class. I just want to say that I would not have made it without Sora to this event, so a big thank you Sora! :D you are the best Unni!!
So yesterday I also said that I was going to Dabin's for dinner which did not happen and to be honest, I was expecting that to happen because it was in the middle of the week, so it's changed to Friday, after my Japanese exam- to celebrate haha :P Just kidding, but it will happen on Friday after my exam and I sell my books! So Saturday- I have no idea whats happening with Sam and Stella, but we'll see!!
This is my last Thursday here!!! WEEE! Okay, well, I have to go put a load of laundry on and then study study study!

Study for Finals!
Afternoon chaps! I have discovered that my usual awakening time is around 9:30 am...usually aha, no earlier nor later, my eyes open around that time pretty reliably. Unless of course I am really tired or I went to bed super early haha. Today is another lovely day with the sun shining, however I didn't run today :( I blame pants, but also, I really needed to get studying- there is ALOT to review and work on. So I woke up, I had breakfast, skyped my mummy and then I turned off my computer to start studying. I had to turn it back on to make some flashcards, but I turned off wifi so I wouldn't/couldn't be distracted. I studied and made flash cards for a solid 3 hours ( hehe :D- just a little proud there) and now I am on a break. It was going to be 15 minutes, but then I got hungry so now it's gone to about 1/2 an hour. Um, so the rest of today will be Japanese studying, maybe a small break with liberal studies studying, but I am not sure about that. I am kind of nervous for these 3 exams, so I should study hard! My Japanese, it's hard because I am having difficulty with how to study all of these things, like I've made flashcards with vocab and location words etc etc, but sentence order I have no idea how to practice or particle usages or listening comprehension...then we have to write a short composition...eek, I am kind of really nervous. This exam is on Friday, and then Saturday is booked as a playday, Sunday and Monday are intense study days for both Japanese oral and liberal studies. Liberal studies, I have 6 questions, 2 of those will be on the exam and I have to write on both of them... meaning I have to prepare for 6 questions, have a outline planned in my head (I cannot bring additional notes) and I'll write on 2 of them...eeeek..I mean they are short essays (500-750 words each) and I have 3 hours to write them...
Friday after my Japanese exam, I am going to sell my books that I don't need for my liberal studies back to the bookstore and the ones that I do need for the exam, I will have to keep them because you can only sell books on Friday to the bookstore, and this friday is my last friday here. I can't wait to see my daddy and I can't wait to see my puppy when I get home to Calgary!! Awweee, I miss him so much, I want to cuddle!! hehe
um, yeah, so I have alot to do!!
This evening, I am supposed to visit Dabin Unni- she said she is going to cook Korean food for me which is super exciting, I am looking forward to it, although she hasn't said what time to come over- she said she'll let me know. I don't know if she has an exam or when her exams are scheduled...I hope it will be okay.
Yeah, so I better get back to studying.
My bum hurts from sitting too much.

A very neat, inspiring, wonderfully made video! + little update!
Hi there!
I came across this documentary this morning and I watched the whole thing, it is very neat! This is definitely worth every minute of it, it addressed everything so straight-forwardly and is so eye-opening. Talk about awakening hahah
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlfYHAV1i8w
it is quite a long one, but it's intriguing and interesting, and it is very worth the time!! Oh, just in case, haha, it addressed 2012 in general, the galactic alignment, and such. It's super cool!
Enjoy!
Also, today is my last day of classes which is pretty exciting! Today was a pretty awesome day, so now it's all studying!! I have plans for dinner on Wednesday with Dabin, (cultural connections buddy) she said she was making korean food for me XD I'm so excited! And then on Friday I have my Japanese final!! Eeek! Saturday, I am supposed to be getting together with Stella and Sam- I am not sure what we are doing- we might go watch a theatre production and cook but I'm not sure. Then I have my Japanese oral Tuesday morning bright and early- I am super nervous....and then my liberal studies essays on Tuesday afternoon. Then, Wednesday, Dad should arrive and we'll be packing up, washing and cleaning and then departing Nanaimo, and arriving in Calgary on the Friday. Followed by a busy weekend of first-aid/CPR/AED. I'll just go up to there for now haha, so time is flying for sure!! O.O I am being told by my friends that I have made here that I shouldn't leave, but it's kind of too late now. I had to make my decision way back in October, yes it was necessary way back then! And you know, I can't change my mind now, and even if I could, I don't think I would. I am not going to regret my decision- I am off to teach skiing for the rest of the year! And you know, I can always come back to university- it's no rush!! I am making my own path and changing course from the main stream. I am doing what I want to do! I am not regretting my decision what-so-ever. And anyway, most of my friends I've made are international students so they'd be leaving at the end of next semester anyway.
Haha, I have convinced my mummy and daddy to wait for me for decorating the tree. I don't want to be away when they put it up!! I love putting it up, it will be weird and I don't like it if I am not there or helping!! They were going to do it tonight, but they didn't get around to it- I asked them to, if they were going to set it up, set up the skype so that I can at the very least watch ahah and be there, haha so I can give advice on where to put the tree haha just kidding
But it looks like I have succeeded in my mission to get them to wait for me! XD
I'll be going off to bed now, ;) night night!
I came across this documentary this morning and I watched the whole thing, it is very neat! This is definitely worth every minute of it, it addressed everything so straight-forwardly and is so eye-opening. Talk about awakening hahah

it is quite a long one, but it's intriguing and interesting, and it is very worth the time!!

Nuri Japanese Restaurant
So today, the plan was that I go to a Japanese restaurant with my Japanese class and the other japanese class (section 1 & 2) and a whole lot of Japanese helpers. It turned out to be alot of fun, and I have an amazing story to go along with this event haah
So, the bus direct to Woodgrove from VIU left at 11:31 am and the lunch was at 12 and the bus arrived at Woodgrove at 11:54 and it was only a few minutes away from Woodgrove so that was all good. So I left my room at 11:25 and I waited...and I waited some more and when it was 11:40- I thought to myself-- %$*#(%& I missed it....%&()#&%(@)!%. So there I was, standing in the rain, madly sending help text messages to Sora (Section 2 Japanese class) and Akina (Japanese helper) to try and help me find an alternative bus route to get me to the restaurant. Sora managed to text me to take the 4 and then transfer to the number 1 at the country club to get to woodgrove, she would wait for me at woodgrove centre and we would walk together to the restaurant because she knew where it was. Sounds great, I got on the 4 that showed up 5 minutes later, and then I told myself 'country club'.................... I haven't been to the country club before, or in that direction at all, so I was hoping it was going to be obvious. It was a 20 minute ride and yes it was an obvious stop to get off at because there were other buses stopped there, so I transferred to the number 1 to woodgrove and everything went reasonably smoothly. I arrived at Woodgrove centre at 12:30 or so and now contacting Sora was another challenge. I'd only met Sora once in person, and that was at a Korean friend's birthday party, so I didn't exactly remember what she looked like. haha, I called her and then we ended up making contact after we saw each other talking to each other on the phone across the transfer location so we met up and walked through the mall. We ended up illegally crossing the road- I think it was called 'the island highway'- um- yeah- it just sounds dangerous but it ended up being okay and no close deaths, it was just really rainy that's all, which made climbing the banks of either side of the highway more dangerous than the actual crossing. haha Um, so we arrived at the restaurant and I think there were 23 people there so that was totally awesome :) It was soo much fun and we ended up eating a very yummy meal, I have sushi and sashimi bento box which was delicious and it was the yummiest thing of my life, there was also tempura and it was absolutely delish! I made lots of new friends, one of them by the name of Chikako :) Also, what was kind of embarrassing but not really, was when we were talking about what classes we were from, and Chikako pointed out that the guy that was sitting opposite her was from the same class that I was in, but I honestly had/have no idea what the dude's name was and I think I had seen him once or twice before, but it was awkward. I sit in the very front of the class so I don't see anyone else in the class unless they sit next to me or behind me, and if they're behind me, I have to be partnered with them for me to meet them and that doesn't happen often and usually my partners are the same person. hah, so that was pretty funny. I stayed for around 2 hours or so and Sora and I left together too because our buses came at around the same time. Walking back through the mall, I ran into another Japanese helper student which I'd never actually spoken too, but we had made eye contact more than once in the class so I stopped to say hi and introduce myself quickly, I found her name to be Numi and her friend who was another helper Minami I think, but I couldn't chat for long because we had buses to catch. Unfortunatly, unless I run into her at school again, I probably won't ever see her again because there is only Monday's classes left and I don't have Japanese on Mondays. :( Um, yeah, so on the way back, I caught the right bus and went directly back to school and now here I am. I finished my research paper- yay!! and all I really need to do now is study, study, study.
So today's outing was alot of fun and it's been solidly raining all day today, not misting, actual raindrops have been in a constant downfall all night and alllllll day long, ding-a-ding-ding.
It's Dec 1, so now only 24 days until Christmas!!
I have nothing planned for tomorrow which means I should start studying...haha see you later! :D
