Hey everyone! Today was pretty awesome! I donated blood with the Canadian Blood Services!! I was pretty nervous but everyone is so nice and it went really well! Apart from at the end when they were just about to take the needle out I didn't feel so well, so I said so. All of a sudden, I was surrounded by about 5 people. Raising my legs, putting wet cloths on my head and neck, and a fan blowing in my face, and one of the nurses said 'Keep your eyes open' and I did, but after I don't remember anything. When I came back to myself, the fan was still going and the cloths had been removed and there was a sticky pink bandage on my arm that said GIVE BLOOD. So embarrassed. I am really very embarrassed, I could have done without any of that. So apart from that, it was brilliant, I would totally do it again, but definitely without the episode at the end. (oh my goodness, so embarrassing!) They made me wait more and then the nurse walked me over to the refreshment station where I was given 2 cookies! So on this endeavor, I had drunk 3 juice boxes, eaten 2 cookies and a nutri-bar. haha, but overall it was a really good experience and I recommend it to everyone to give blood. I am not a big fan of needles, but one of my friends said 'I know you don't like needles, but some people don't like dying either.' it's amazing how many people ended up donating because of this statement. So I'm not sure how much blood my school managed to get, I'll let you know when I find out! Also, I can't wait until I get my Canadian Blood Services card either because then I get to know what blood type I am which I'm really curious about. That's the biggest thing that's happened recently.
Oh yes, I've signed up to take the DELF exam (Diplome d'etudes en langue francaise). Pretty much a diploma of french language studies. Which is an internationally recognized diploma and I'm really excited to get that.
That's the most exciting thing so I'll wrap that up for today!

Not to happy, and lots of decisions...
Right now, the third day into our long weekend...isn't so great at the moment. Let me see, I haven't had the best time in my life. Since I got off, I have been shouted at at least once a day. My little brother has been being mean to me too. (Not particularly a surprise) But I wanted to have a harmonious family long weekend, but that hasn't happened yet. My older brother came home last night which was nice, but that's the nicest thing that's happened so far. I can't believe that everyone is finding it so hard to be nice to me this long weekend, and what's with the yelling at me? I'm one of those people that forgive quite easily, but I've been put through this so many times...is it that hard to just apologize? Usually, when people yell at me, I forgive them quite easily afterwards without even requiring an apology, but I don't see why I can't get one when one is quite necessary. I won't go into any specific details-it'll bore you. But once in a while, to someone who doesn't need or particularly like apologies, you can give them one.
Sorry, it probably sounds a lot like complaining, but sometimes the people that forgive others easily do need to vent once in a while too. Anyway to more happy matters, I received my acceptance letter from the one and only university I applied too, and now I just need to decide whether to accept my acceptance or go according to my original plan. My original plan was the teach skiing all next year, take language classes and earn money for a year long trip to Japan the following year so the year of 2013. But if I end up going to this university, I'm hoping to be doing a bachelor of arts, a double minor in languages and culture (Japanese) and digital media studies. That will be 4 years and I most definitely be doing semesters abroad. So it's either stay and live in this house for another year or move out next year and live there for 4 years. So some pros and cons; if I go to university; I'll have to have a loan(-), I'll have more than a high school diploma(+), um, pros and cons for original plan; stay here and teach skiing(+/-), travel to Japan 2013 (+)...as you can see it's pretty straight forward. A reason for why I wanted to travel before university is to find out what I really want to do without spending a whole ton of money only to go back and do something else. And so I can experience new cultures and languages and find my real self, find out who I am, what I like and what I don't like, and meet lots of new people, learn about different cultures and languages. Ever since I was little I wanted to travel before university. I am not a very academic student, not a very athletic student either, closer to the arts and languages.
Only March, April and May of intensive school left, then June is exams. I only have to stick out my hard-core studying until then. The only thing is I have to decide about next year pretty soon, because if I am going to uni I have to accept sooner rather than later- because I'll be a boarding student. Why do I have to make so many decisions so soon? So much pressure!! If anybody has any thoughts or suggestions, that would be great help! Thanks!!

Mmm, so happy long weekend to everyone that has one :) Oh, right, Happy Valentines Day too, to those of you who celebrate it! Today, we had a Touring Company come to our school and perform A Midsummer Night's Dream which was really well done! I enjoyed a spectacular hour long performance today! I think that's all I have to say for now, but I am overall quite content to see that 100 people have viewed my blog at one point of time to another-thank you!

Another week of my life...
Guess what!! I passed my ski course!!! I am now a certified level 1 ski instructor!! YAY!!! :) But now that that's over....i have been soo tired!! I could've slept from 7 am -12 pm if I didn't have to go to school. Anyway, today in Drama we had someone called Jeffery come from the Art Institute of Vancouver and it sounded really really cool!! They offer some pretty sweet programs there!! I was interested in most of them so I signed up for more information, which is pretty exciting. The last university I applied to still hasn't replied so I'm not sure where that's going, but I mean it's only been 2 weeks since I sent my transcript which I'm hoping they've received. I've been taking a huge break from studying Japanese because school right now if first priority. Oh yes, in drama we're having a directing project which I'm super excited about and we haven't really started on that yet but it'll be a blast I'm sure! Well, I think that's all I have to say now :) Have an awesome weekend everyone!

Last Weekend of Skiing!!
Hello y'all!! Tomorrow is the last day of my ski course and I really really hope I'm going to pass it!! I'm kind of nervous, but the course is really fun I have to say! Tiring but fun!! Today the conditions were absolutely gorgeous! The sun was shining and the temperature was a nice 9 degrees! On the down side, this made the snow a little sticky and wet but it was still nice, I ain't complaining there! So tomorrow is evaluation and 'fun play time' in the afternoon :) Yesterday was my first and last sleep in for anther 7 days, but that's okay I suppose. I ran yesterday because it was such wonderful weather and it was lovely! (I'm sore today because I hadn't run for a while...) So these last few days were absolutely brilliant weather wise! But I mean, life's going pretty well for me :)
