I challenge you...to a sword duel!! haha, drama was so much fun today!! We choreographed our little short sword fights, it was a blast! No one got hurt, we just ended up breaking a sword though when it got dropped, the blade and the handle fell apart...oh well. Also today was the 10th annual film fest at our school, so we had the gala today which was lots of fun to watch. I've been going to all of the film fest days during lunch to watch all the films that got submitted which was pretty cool! The gala, which was today, showed all the films that won an award for either, best screenplay, most original, and the best overall film etc... it was really awesome to see all the films that our school got. I was part of the film fest committee in 2010 but I didn't really do much because I was a timid grade 10 and I didn't join in grade 11 because...to be perfectly honest..I'm not so sure why I didn't, and in grade 12 I didn't because I was too busy, but, go figure, all my other friends joined to make film fest happen again this year....I love film fest and it's totally cool and awesome, I would have loved to help just this semester is too busy!
Oh yeah, my older brother is coming home this evening, his year is finished at university and I can't wait until I'm done this year. I'm still really sick of school, but only ~28 days left!
Another thing, it's actually raining!! Like not snowing, but raining! It's actually April showering! It never does this here, it usually snows in April, but not this year-we only got 2 snowfalls in April this year, usually it's our snowiest month!
Anyway, I should probably get cracking on my homework, after all the school year isn't over yet!!

French for the Future
Hey everyone so today I had a pretty interesting and unique day!! I had a day that was 100% in french, unlike most of my days which are about 75% french. This is a day were grade 12 students come from all over Canada to our university because we're all bilingual. So first thing we did was have our first workshop which for me was 'Votre voix francophone' which consisted in dubbing movies in french. It was totally awesome!! I've always wanted to be a voice dubbing a cartoon and it was just as fun as I imagined it! I totally want to do that as a real job. That lasted 2 hours which was super fun and then we had lunch, (during which we got entertained with singing and tap dancing, and then we learned some french folk dance which was super fun!) then off to the second workshop which was interviewing. I signed up for this one because I thought it was going to talk to you about tips on things to do in a job interview, but it wasn't. It was some guy from radio-canada talking about what life was like being a interview-reporter person. So that was a little bit of a disappointment for me. But overall the day was spent spectacularly and I got a lot of practice for my oral french! Finally, as the day closed, we had a draw for gift certificates and an iPad. Unfortunately, I didn't win anything, but I still got a lot of beneficial stuff out of the day!!

Quick Update
Drama Productions, Round 2 first performance is tomorrow and ends Friday! So nervous, but kind of excited at the same time...the same feelings every time! I love it, but it's nerve-racking! My goodness, plus on Saturday I have the oral part of my DELF exam, so I'm really nervous about that. I think I'll be okay, but these days I can never tell. Stress is rising every day because all the teachers are realizing that we only have 34 days of classes left in the year!! Only 34!! I still need to submit all my scholarship applications and my class selection stuff for next year! Ah, so my plan has changed and been post-poned(??) for a while, however my traveling has not! After this summer and the next year I'm hoping to be traveling to France, Japan and other places that I haven't quite selected yet with studying abroad so my traveling is definitely still a top priority.
Yipeee!!

Swan Lake Ballet
So Friday was an amazing day, I went with my friend Bee to the Swan Lake Ballet!! I had never been to a ballet before or ever even wanted to go to one, but I went to this one and it was accompanied by the philharmonic orchestra and it was spectacular! The costumes and set were gorgeous and the dancing was beautiful! I'll definitely want to go to another one, it was so good! I've been applying for scholarships and reading and having fun over this last week of Spring Break. However, i only have 4 days of school this week because next weekend is Easter Holidays. I counted I only have 40 days left of high school classes! I can't wait until it's over!
