I'm now in Jindabyne! It all went smoothly yesterday, the packing, the cleaning, the good-byes... and this morning I've been out and about! I think I woke up at 6:30 am again, but forced myself to try and go back to sleep after all, it was pitch black in my room. Which I did, and I believe I ended up getting up at around 8:15ish.
I went to the post office to get all my mail forwarded back to Sydney and then went for a little walk around Lake Jindabyne. It definitely is beautiful! I've seen 5 different kinds of birds already this morning! (And dead kangaroos and wombats from roadkill...) but it's really pretty here. I particularly like the trees, and i was even blessed with blue sky today, although the mountains look dark and rainy-- haha suckers!! Anyway, tonight is my bus to Sydney and I'm planning to maybe go out for another walk or just chillax in Tessa's house. Everyone is out and busy, so I'm pretty much on my own.

Above is Smiggin Holes where Willow Lodge(my dorm) was based. This was before the rain hit. it's brown and closing now.
