Saturday... + Sunday morning :P

Yay! So good morning--it's Sunday morning and it's a beautiful morning! The birds and singing and the crickets are chirping, my my, and it's absolutely silent in the dorms!! I did my washing this morning and oh, it's time for it to go in the dryer...I'll be back in a giffy here, one minute
Okay so that's done! And I did check the pockets of everything before it went in the washing machine--I promise!! (If you didn't catch the story before: I went to yoga and I put my phone in my pocket because I didn't have anywhere else to put it- and I forgot about it, and I did washing the next day--I found my phone only after it had been through the washing machine and the dryer....) Anyway, so last night...!! I was invited over to Corine house which is super tiny and super cute- or as she would say stupid cute. haha, but it really is, it's this little tiny house, but it's super super cute! Like one that would be used to the movies--that cute!! haha, she also has two dogs, and they're tiny little things, but they're both super adorable and one of them is soo tiny, it's like you can pick it up with one hand--super cute :) So we had dinner, and then we got picked up by Corine's friend and we drove to Starbucks where I met 4 more lovely ladies, and we, then, went over to see the Looper at the movie theatre. Tickets are like $3 cheaper in Nanaimo than in Calgary- it's only like $10.99 (Calgary it's 12.50) , and then on Tuesday's it's even cheaper :) Yeah, so the Looper--interesting. It's your typical american action movie-- shooting people and blowing shit up, but the idea was pretty intense. At one point, there are 3 Sid's- past, present and future all in one scene, and the older two are trying to kill the younger one...I'm not sure, it was kind of confusing...the little kid had brown eyes but the older one's had green, and they were supposed to be the same person...and then I didn't understand by the older ones' didn't know that the kid was himself...anyway, it was confusing and a typical action-gun movie. It wasn't terrible, just not my type of thing, but it was okay. I think they could've done a better job with clarifying the situations, because there were quite a few scenes that didn't make sense and didn't flow properly. And they definitely had some things that they did, which weren't necessary. Like they ordered food at a diner, and it arrived, but no one at it, looked at it or touched it...which was bizarre- they made the effort to take a shot looking down on the order when it arrived- to show that they ate the same thing- but I didn't get the point of it- definitely an unnecessary shot right there. And apparently, the 3 Sid's were all from different choices and different life path's they chose...or something....too confusing, they definitely needed to clarify everything. I'd rate it 2.5/5 They could've done better. hah
Anyway, on the agenda today, I think I'm meeting Akina for lunch or brunch if we find a restaurant that's open on a Sunday haha, but we'll see. I need to go grocery shopping today, so once I find out what else I'm doing today, I'll need to squeeze that in somewhere!
