Woott! So I've arrived in Sydney! And fortunately, there was only a little bit of turbulence, but not enough to make me vomit all over everything which is a relief!
It is very humid in Sydney...I feel all sticky...but the people that I'm staying with Laurie and Margaret are very nice! But I still don't know what to call them, I haven't asked yet, but I don't want to be rude or anything by calling them anything..so I'll ask later on! Luckily, there are no spiders here which is very good- and a bonus for me- it's winter, so they all go to sleep!
I am very sorry, I didn't get to call anyone as I arrived, but I was talking a lot with Laurie and Margaret over dinner (the 2nd one...I didn't realize they fed you on the plane!) which was very nice! And Laurie told me all about his tree-hugging experiences....haha (sorry, inside joke!) But, it's been very nice, I didn't have any trouble entering Australia at all- it actually was easier than entering New Zealand would you believe! They didn't x-rays my skis or nothing! Which is crazy!
But anyway, tomorrow Margaret is walking me over the bridge into the city to get some documentation done like my medicare card, bank accounts, phone stuff etc etc. So I'll let you know all about that tomorrow. I'm going to try and upload some photos from New Zealand and post them.
